Best accomodation I've stayed in, perfect for working at sellafield.

I moved here when I was 18 for an apprenticeship with Sellafield, and I have been here for over a year now. I can safely say that Gary is one of, if not the best landlord you will ever have. He makes sure everyone in his buildings is decent, makes sure everything is clean, and will make sure you are happy. He also offers excellent advice on things such as garages to use, areas to avoid buying houses, and will help with any other problems you may have. Overall you can't go wrong renting with Kensley Properties.

I was looking for affordable accommodation in Whitehaven or Egremont. I decided to rent a room with Kensley Properties, which was a great experience from start to finish. The houses are set up for HMO's for people working in the area. I like the individual locks on the bedrooms for the extra security. 10/10

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 absolutely Outstanding Stay 🛌 We stayed in Room 3 at the kings arms whitehaven and from the moment we arived everything was spot on There was plenty of free parking just 20 yards away we pull up outside the property to unload then parked up with absolutely no issues check inn instructions where clear and easy to follow Gary the host was actually there when we arrived and was more than happy to show us how everything worked. including the keypad and pin It was great to meet him 🙂 and it was good to know that if we needed anything he was just around the corner and available no matter what time it was athe suite itself was exceptional the clean ness quality attention to detail were all first class You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design with luxury fixture and fittings and loads of lovely finishing touches Room 3 was fantastic the ensuite was beautifully finished with floor to ceiling tiling.a waterfall shower and a separate handheld shower the double bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows zzzz woth plenty of space for our travel cot for the baby theres also plenty of lighting and stylish touches in the room lovely table and chairs alcove with hanging space for clothes and a compact kettle with everything you need for a proper brew The little extras hasn't been overlooked either. There was a travel iron and ironing board which came in really handy for giving my shirt and trousers a quick once over small iron but more than done the job honestly we couldn’t fault the place It was clean comfortable stylish exception well thought out and has a fantastic host who genuinely seems to care about his guests An absolute credit to gary We had have no quarms whatsoever in staying here again and would highly recommend The kings arms to anyone looking for somewhere to stay 10/10 all day long — fantastic place, fantastic host and a fantastic stay!

What a beautiful room I had. Lovely and clean double bed and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee facilities in your room. Tv with lots of channels to watch, a wind up alarm clock! The bathroom was amazing with the biggest bath ever...if you are visiting Whitehaven make sure you check if there are any rooms here, you won't be disappointed.

I stayed over at the King's Arms soon after the renovations were completed and was lucky enough to get a tour of the building, too. The rooms are tastefully finished and furnished and very comfortable and quiet. Booking was Super easy and all for a good price. I was only staying for one night but I'll book again when I return to the area. A great experience!

The Kings Arms Pub has been beautifully converted into high-standard apartments. Each unit is spotlessly clean, with a spacious ensuite, a large comfortable bed, WiFi, and a smart TV—everything you need for a short stay, whether for a getaway or when working in the area. Highly recommended

The owners couldn't do more for us on our wedding day check I'n was brought forward for us, champagne and chocolates left in the room on arrival the room was one of the cleanest I have seen in along time, very modern cosy room with ensuite. 5 out of 5 would stay again and defantly recommend to anyone visiting whiteheaven

I’ve recently moved into one of kensley propeties flats within egremont and the experience has been really positive so far. The landlord has been friendly, approachable, and quick to respond to any questions I’ve had. The move-in process was straightforward, and everything was well organised. The flat has just been refurbished and is immaculate, a lot of effort has been put in to make the place as homely as possible.

I’ve rented with kensley properties for 8 months and I couldn’t recommend them enough. From day 1, they were extremely supportive, helpful and always available if I needed help or had any questions. Gary really goes above and beyond for his residents. I initially moved into Workington but after a few days I moved to Whitehaven. On the day I moved he spent the morning helping me take my things from Workington to Whitehaven. He went out of his way and also showed me a few things to do around the area. I’ve never had a single issue with the property or landlord . The property is well built and kept clean. If I could go back 8 months into the past I would contact kensley properties again and do nothing differently.

Finest service provided by Kensley Properties. The landlord Gary is a gem. Any issues that come up like no heating or wifi is down or anything is resolved so quickly. I have been living for more than a year and i have zero complaints. The bedding is changed regularly, all the rooms (including kitchen, toilet) are cleaned regularly. All in all you dont have to worry about anything except yourself and the rest is taken care by Gary.

Excellent service. Please attend to kitchen needs plates and cups . Also bathroom needs bath matts on the floor to keep floors dry after each person has bathed . Otherwise excellent condition

When I was told to leave a previously rented property, I was at a loss. Luckily, someone pointed me towards Gary Kelly. He was a massive help in getting me back on my feet. Not only did he have a room I could rent, that had its own coded lock on the door, which made me feel extra safe and know my stuff was also secure. He helped me further by making recommendations for me to look into, nothing was too much for him, both in the accommodation and out. The house as a whole was very clean throughout as well.

Excellent! This is a high spec shared house ( clean spacious rooms , quiet, well equipped kitchen, reliable WiFi, locks on doors, cleaner). Great location, 10 minutes into Whitehaven, 5 mins to big Tescos. Gary takes alot of pride in what he does - this is a model shared house (other landlords, take note!) Simon his son is a superb electrician too. A good team overall!

Right from booking the room to coming to Whitehaven and seeing the room has been pleasant and easy. Gary was kind enough to pick me up from the train station with my bags while it was raining outside. The ensuite room is neat, cozy and perfect for a person. The kitchen and bathrooms as well as the common areas are well maintained and tidy. Worth the money!
